Visual Identity for an Immersive Journey Through Fantastical Realms
Bubble World, an immersive voyage through fantastical, pastel landscapes, designed to captivate all five senses.
Exhibition Hub and Fever, the producers of Bubble World, sought to create a visual identity that embodied the essence of the bubble-themed exhibition. The goal was to appeal to both children and adults while collaborating with various teams, including marketing, in-house graphic designers, and scenographers.
Bubble World is designed as a family-friendly experience, immersing visitors in a fantastical world of bubbles. The exhibition's enchanting decor provides the perfect backdrop for photos, making it an ideal destination for content creators, including influencers, seeking to capture moments in a pastel and surreal setting.
The journey to craft the perfect logo involved extensive research, experimentation with typography, and discussions with the Exhibition Hub team. After presenting three distinct directions, the chosen logo underwent a 3D transformation to evoke the appearance of bubbles.
Incorporating bubble-related elements aligned seamlessly with the exhibition's imagery. The 3D-rendered logo complemented the pervasive technology found in the immersive exhibition, featuring 360° projections, VR experiences, robots, and more. Color choices were made in collaboration with scenographers to ensure consistency with the exhibition's decor.
The surreal atmosphere was fostered through the selection of colors, monumental bubble installations, and the integration of arched rectangles reminiscent of exhibition doorways and surrealist art. The creation of a mascot, a living bubble, accompanied visitors throughout the exhibition, enhancing the surreal experience. Additionally, a comprehensive brand guideline was developed to provide support for the exhibition's global teams in their communication efforts, ensuring a unified and cohesive visual identity.
The keyvisual encapsulated the essence of Bubble World, incorporating its colors, shapes, and bubbles. The visual aimed to convey the surreal world of the exhibition without revealing too much, all while being visually captivating.
The visual identity we crafted successfully projected visitors into the surreal universe of Bubble World. The exhibition garnered extensive media coverage in every city it visited and received overwhelmingly positive reviews from journalists, both for the exhibition itself and its visual identity.
